Think Out of the Box
A Unique Perspective Hearing and balance are two of humans’ most important senses. Whatever the underlying causes of hearing loss and balance issues, and all the challenges that come with those, Doctors of Audiology are committed to helping give back the gifts of communication and engagement with life. Here, you will have the satisfaction of helping restore these precious gifts to your patients.
Set High Expectations The Pacific University Doctor of Audiology (AuD) program is one of just a few accelerated, three-year programs in the nation. Instead of multiple subjects studied simultaneously, most of your classroom studies are organized into 1-3-week modules of compressed learning on one subject. From your first year, and continuing throughout your degree program, you will also participate in clinical practicum experiences to apply what you are learning.
Our atmosphere is collegial—not competitive. We do not post grades and you will often work as part of a group on exams.
But we do set the bar high. Here, you must achieve a score of at least 85% to pass. Expect to be challenged. Expect to be supported and to achieve more than you ever thought possible.
